When materials, skill and sweat come together.

Once the design of your home is completed, we roll up our sleeves to turn your vision into reality. Our goal is a great final product and we remain vigilantly mindful during the process to make sure it all happens to your satisfaction.

Why Our Process Works

After the contract is signed and the initial payment is made, permits are secured and materials are ready, construction officially begins. Existing structures are carefully removed as needed, and new materials are delivered and staged on site. From day one, our focus is quality, efficiency, safety, and respect for your property.

Our process is built on structure, transparency, and teamwork. With dedicated project management, clear communication, and systems like JobTread keeping every detail on track, you always know where your project stands. Our team-based construction approach adds multiple layers of oversight and quality control, ensuring issues are addressed early and craftsmanship never slips. From demolition to the final walk-through—and beyond—we deliver a smoother experience and results you can trust.

Build Phase

  • Our team submits all the Permit Drawings to the city for approval and once they are stamped with the city’s approval we can start construction!

  • After the contract is signed and the initial payment is made, a kickoff meeting is scheduled at the job site. We thoroughly review your project and explain our construction procedures.

  • During deconstruction, we carefully remove existing elements to prepare the space for what’s next. Our team works methodically to protect the areas of your home that will remain, minimizing disruption and keeping the site clean and safe. This thoughtful approach sets the stage for a smooth, efficient build.

  • Throughout construction, your Project Manager is your main point of contact. They coordinate trades, schedules, inspections, and deliveries, ensuring every detail is executed according to plan. Clear communication is a priority—questions, updates, or concerns are addressed promptly so you always know what’s happening on your project.

  • As work progresses, we closely monitor craftsmanship, timelines, and site conditions. Any adjustments or decisions are discussed with you before moving forward. Our goal is to minimize surprises and deliver a smooth, well-managed build experience from start to finish.

  • As construction nears completion, we walk the site together to review the finished work. During this walkthrough, we mutually agree on a final list of items—if any—documented in our Project Closure Document. This ensures expectations are clear and nothing is overlooked.

  • Once the project is complete, your 30-day Customer Service Review begins. This gives you time to live in your new space and fully experience it. If you notice any items that aren’t finished to your satisfaction, simply make note of them.

At the end of the 30 days, your list is emailed to our office, and we take care of the rest—promptly and professionally.

Dedicated Project Management

Throughout construction, your Project Manager is your main point of contact, coordinating trades, schedules, inspections, and deliveries. To keep every project transparent, organized, and accountable, we’ve implemented JobTread, a project management system that allows us to track progress, manage details, and keep everything moving forward with clarity and control.

Clear communication is a priority—questions, updates, or concerns are addressed promptly so you always know what’s happening on your project.

We’ve evolved our construction process to a team-based approach, meaning your project benefits from multiple experienced professionals working together rather than relying on a single point of execution. This creates more oversight, stronger collaboration, and tighter quality control at every stage of construction.

  • "We used Bella Vista for our full house remodel - the process of a full remodel takes time; our project manager did a very good job of listening to our questions, explaining the process and follow-up with the subcontractors doing the work; they did a good job of resolving things and making corrections/enhancements as needed in regards to quality or changes in work results; final outcome was an excellent remodeled house that we are enjoying now."

    —Rob Slade

  • “We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Rob and Whitney on our home renovation designs. From start to finish, they made the process feel fun, easy, and genuinely exciting. Their combined expertise - especially their deep knowledge of our neighborhood - paired perfectly with their thoughtful attention to our wish list. They listened carefully to what we wanted and translated it into several creative, well-considered plans that truly fit our home and lifestyle. ”

    —Liz Stephens

  • "The BV team has been phenomenal to work with as we have worked through the design process of our 2nd story addition project. They have been incredibly accommodating, responsive, and low pressure. The team has been very patient and easy to work with as we iterate to get to a final product that works with our budget. Highly recommended!"

    —Greg Dundas

  • "We recently completed a home addition with Bella Vista. The architect, Rob, and his team did a great job designing the addition and our project manager was in our corner every step of the way, listening and responding to any questions or issues we had, checking everything meticulously, making sure everything was done right and the project moved along at a good pace. The sub contractors that we had worked extremely hard and were always kind to our two small kids that were very interested in whatever they were doing. Everything went smoothly and we were very happy with the process and end result."

    —Jordan Jistel

  • "What a TEAM this is! Bella Vista team have been 100% knowledgable, efficient, creative, resourceful, with amazing communication, and nothing was ever too difficult for them to tackle on our project! I have built/remodeled/designed over 150 homes in 4 states and I have yet to find a team that I can truly write a good review on!"

    —Nisha Woods

  • "We had a very good experience with Bella Vista. Remodeling a house is hard. There are a lot of decisions to make and the process takes a very long time. There are countless horror stories out there of contractors disappearing or not doing what they promised, but Bella Vista was very true to their word. When a problem came up, they fixed it. They were very professional and we're glad we used them. "

    —Chris Kelso

  • "We originally hired Bella Vista to do a small guest bathroom addition but the plans expanded as we worked with them to understand the buildout potential of our second level, ultimately reframing the roof and remodeling a finished out attic into a two bedroom, one bath upstairs. The design process was collaborative and we appreciated their input and expertise. They quoted us a four month construction timeline and finished within days of that deadline. We found the team and the subcontractors to all be professional and great to work with, which was important as we were still living in the space with our toddler during construction. Communication was constant- we felt any issues that arose were worked through relatively quickly. We are extremely happy with the final product and would work with Bella Vista again in the future."
